.Moderate flooding continues along the Big Muddy River. At both
Plumfield and Murphysboro, the river will continue to fall slowly
through next week.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Murphysboro.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, Areas around S 3rd & 4th Streets begin to
flood.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM CDT Saturday was 34.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 23.1 feet
