Illinois...Kentucky...Missouri...
Ohio River at Smithland Dam, Paducah, Olmsted Lock and Dam and
Cairo.
.The Ohio River is expected to crest at Smithland and Paducah
Wednesday, and hold steady at Olmsted and Cairo until Wednesday,
then begin a slow fall.
* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Ohio River at Olmsted Lock and Dam.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 48.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to hold fairly steady until
Wednesday,then slowly fall to 36.4 feet Wednesday, April 23.
- Flood stage is 36.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
