...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky...Missouri...
Mississippi River at Hickman and New Madrid.
.Levels on the Mississippi River at Hickman will hold steady, then
begin a slow fall Tuesday. At New Madrid, the river is cresting
tonight, then it will hold fairly steady through Wednesday before
beginning a slow fall.
* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Mississippi River near Hickman.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 45.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river will hold steady through Monday, then is
expected to slowly fall to 36.1 feet Wednesday, April 23.
- Flood stage is 34.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
