St Francis River Diversion Ditch at Madison
For the Saint Francis River...including Saint Francis, Lake City,
Madison...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...St Francis River Diversion Ditch at Madison.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 36.5 feet, Flooding is occurring in the mobile home
park on the left bank of the river east of Madison.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 35.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 PM CDT Sunday was 35.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 36.5
feet Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
