Lincoln Creek Near Seward affecting Seward County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Big Blue River near Surprise. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, County road 24 1/2 will begin to flood downstream of Surprise. In addition, the city park near the gage site begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 7.4 feet...or 0.4 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 7.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 1.6 feet Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
