...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Wisconsin...Minnesota...Iowa... Mississippi River at Lansing affecting Crawford, Vernon, Houston and Allamakee Counties. Mississippi River at Lake City affecting Pepin, Wabasha and Goodhue Counties. Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10 affecting Clayton and Grant Counties. Mississippi River at La Crosse affecting La Crosse, Houston and Vernon Counties. Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Crawford, Clayton, Grant and Allamakee Counties. Mississippi River at Winona affecting Buffalo, Winona and Trempealeau Counties. Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Buffalo and Wabasha Counties. .The heaviest rain this afternoon fell across Clayton and Grant counties and at the headwaters of the Kickapoo River, with lighter amounts of around or less than an inch elsewhere. Overall amounts fell close to forecast and therefore adjustments to the river crests and timing along the Mississippi River have been minimal with this update. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at McGregor. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 21.5 feet, Railroad tracks near the casino in Marquette are closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 20.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM CDT Tuesday was 20.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 21.6 feet Tuesday, July 09. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 21.6 feet on 04/22/1969. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
