Louisiana...
Bogue Falaya River At Boston St in Covington affecting St.
Tammany Parish.
...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in
Louisiana...
Bogue Falaya River At Camp Covington affecting St. Tammany Parish.
For the Bogue Falaya...including Camp Covington, Boston St in
Covington...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Bogue Falaya River at Boston St in Covington.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet and falling, floodwaters will be receding
from River Bend Road and adjacent homes. Bogue Falaya River Park
and Christ Episcopal School grounds will remain flooded.
At 11.0 feet and falling, floodwaters will begin receding from the
areas around the grounds of the Christ Episcopal School and Bogue
Falaya River Park.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 2.7 feet Tuesday
evening.
- Flood stage is 6.0 feet.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
