Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southwest Virginia, including the following
counties and independent city, City of Radford, Giles, Montgomery
and Pulaski and southeast West Virginia, including the following
county, Monroe.
* WHEN...Until 815 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 317 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen.

Back Creek, Connellys Run, Crab Creek, Big Macks Creek, Cecil
Branch, Dixon Branch, Broad Hollow Creek, Dry Branch, Carper
Branch, Brush Creek, Crooked Creek and Blue Lick Creek.

Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, Pulaski, Pearisburg,
Dublin and Narrows.
