Clinch River Near Richlands affecting Tazewell County.
For the Clinch River...including Richlands...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Clinch River near Richlands.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Water begins to flood baseball field near
water treatment plant.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM EDT Friday the stage was 5.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 10.5 feet this evening. It
will then fall below flood stage late this evening.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
10.5 feet on 12/04/1948.
