Enoree River At Whitmire affecting Union and Newberry Counties. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South Carolina...Georgia... Pee Dee River At Pee Dee River at Cheraw affecting Chesterfield and Marlboro Counties. Savannah River at Augusta At Savannah River at Augusta affecting Richmond and Aiken Counties. Congaree River At Congaree River at Congaree NP Near Gadsden affecting Richland and Calhoun Counties. Wateree River At Lake Wateree affecting Fairfield, Kershaw and Lancaster Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Savannah River at Augusta at Savannah River at Augusta. * WHEN...From this evening to Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 115.4 feet, Playground equipment and footbridge in the New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam Park becomes flooded. Drainage ditches in the park are also flooded. At 117.5 feet, Flood stage. Extensive areas of New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam Park including park roads and bridges become flooded. Low farm areas immediately adjacent to the river begin to flood. At 120.5 feet, Extensive farmland outside protection of the Augusta levee on the Georgia side becomes flooded. Extensive farmland and developed areas near gum swamp on the South Carolina side become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 115.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 117.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 119.3 feet tomorrow evening. Instruction: 
Residents and those with interests near the river should monitor rising water levels and take action if necessary. Most flooding deaths occur in vehicles. Never drive through a flooded roadway or around barricades. Turn around, don't drown. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Flooded roadways are nearly impossible to see at night. Avoid traveling in this area. Turn around, don't drown. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
