* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Edgecombe, Nash and Wilson. * WHEN...Until 615 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 322 PM EDT, heavy rain from earlier thunderstorms has caused many creeks and streams to rise out of their banks. While the threat of flash flooding has lessened, flooding of low-lying areas and roadways will continue this evening. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
