* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Kentucky, including the following
county, Greenup.
* WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 809 PM EDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
South Shore due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain
have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Brushy Creek, Tygarts Creek, Schultz Creek, Little Oak Creek,
White Oak Creek, Beechy Creek, Dry Fork, Lower White Oak
Creek, Right Fork Smith Branch and Blackbird Branch.
Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
