* WHAT...Flooding possible along the low lying areas near the French
Broad River.
* WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following
counties, Knox and Sevier.
* WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of low-lying and flood-prone locations is
imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 157 AM EDT, Due to excessive water release from the
Douglas Dam, flooding is possible along the low lying areas
near the French Broad River.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Knoxville, Sevierville, Kimberlin Heights and Seymour.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
