* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following county, Floyd. * WHEN...Until 830 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 324 AM EDT, heavy rain has ended, but flooding is still ongoing in the warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... East Prong Furnace Creek, Greasy Creek, Beaverdam Creek, Dobbins Creek, Dodd Creek, Beaver Creek, Burks Fork, Deepwater Creek, Boothe Creek, Dan River, Brush Creek and Big Indian Creek. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
