...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia...
Chattahoochee River at GA 100 at Franklin affecting Heard County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Chattahoochee River at GA 100 at Franklin.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Minor flooding continues to expand into
the woodlands and fields along the river upstream and downstream
from the gage on U.S. Highway 27. Large portions of the park and
athletic fields will be flooded with up to two feet of water on
the downstream and right bank side of the bridge.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:15 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 24.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 5:15 AM EDT Sunday was 25.0 feet.
