...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South Carolina... Saluda River At West Pelzer affecting Greenville and Anderson Counties. * WHAT...Flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Saluda River at West Pelzer. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Action Stage. The woodlands along both sides of the river are flooding. Water will enter a backyard of one home on Arden Road near Culbertson road. Parts of Pelzer boat ramp and yards of some homes along Adger Street in Anderson County will be flooded. Arden Road will be flooded by a couple inches of flood waters. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The latest estimated stage is around 11.5 feet and falling. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 5.4 feet Friday evening. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.5 feet on 12/22/1951. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
