Description:
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
continues.
* WHERE...Portions of central and western Virginia, including the
following counties, in central Virginia, Albemarle and City of
Charlottesville. In western Virginia, Rockingham.
* WHEN...Until 600 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Several
streams remain above flood stage including the Mechums River
around White Hall where water is likely approaching structures
along Free Union Road. The water level has crested along the
Mechums and Moormans Rivers and is currently falling, but still
remains above flood stage.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 213 PM EDT, Additional rainfall is expected through
tonight.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.
