* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Appomattox River above Farmville.
* WHEN...From this morning to late tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, River Rd downstream of the gage near the
railroad bridge begins to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:20 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 17.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:20 AM EDT Tuesday was 17.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 19.5 feet this afternoon.
It will then fall this afternoon. It will rise to 17.2 feet
this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late this
evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
