Appomattox River Above Farmville affecting Prince Edward,
Cumberland and Amelia Counties.
Meherrin River At Lawrenceville affecting Greensville and
Brunswick Counties.
James River At Richmond Locks affecting Henrico and City of
Richmond County.
For the Lower James Basin...including Cartersville, Richmond
Westham, Richmond Locks...Moderate flooding is forecast.
For the Appomattox Basin...including Farmville...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Chowan Basin...including Lawrenceville...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, River Rd downstream of the gage near the
railroad bridge begins to flood.

- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 3:20 PM EDT Tuesday was 18.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tonight and continue falling to 8.1 feet early Friday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
