Ocmulgee River at Abbeville affecting Dodge, Wilcox and Telfair
Counties.
For the Ocmulgee River Basin...including Jackson, Griffin, Juliette,
Juliette, Dames Ferry, Macon, Macon, Hawkinsville, Hawkinsville,
Byron, Clinchfield, Abbeville, McRae, Scotland, Lumber City...Minor
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue.
* WHERE...Ocmulgee River at Abbeville.
* WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 14 feet, Moderate flooding begins. Roads to homes
along the west side of the river in Abbeville become inaccessible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.9 feet and falling.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Tuesday morning and continue falling to 7.9 feet Friday
morning.
- Flood stage is 12 feet.
