...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida... St Johns River Near Above Lake Harney affecting Seminole County. St Johns River Near Sanford affecting Seminole County. St Johns River Near Deland affecting Lake and Volusia Counties. St Johns River Near Astor affecting Lake and Volusia Counties. .Substantial flooding continues on the Saint Johns River. At Astor, the river continues to very slowly decline from its record crest but will remain in Major Flood for the foreseeable future. At Deland, the river is steady in Major Flood Stage but is forecast to slowly rise this week. At Geneva (Above Lake Harney), the river is steady in Major Flood Stage. Finally at Sanford, the river is approaching Moderate Flood Stage tonight. For the St. Johns River...including Above Lake Harney, Deland, and Astor...Major flooding is forecast. Moderate Flooding is forecast at Sanford. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...St Johns River near Above Lake Harney. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 10.5 feet, Water covers many secondary roads near the river, limiting access to homes to boats or high terrain vehicles. Flooding of homes along secondary roads near the river becomes more significant.
