Double Mountain Fork Brazos near Lubbock 4ESE affecting Lubbock
County.
.Very heavy rain that fell upstream last night has led to runoff
that will produce minor flooding along the Double Mountain Fork of
the Brazos from eastern Lubbock downstream to Buffalo Springs and
Ransom Canyon. FM 835 just west of Buffalo Springs is closed as of
this morning.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Double Mountain Fork Brazos near Lubbock 4ESE.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...FM-835 just west of Buffalo Springs was closed due to
water over the road. Flooding of the loop road around the west end
of Buffalo Springs Lake is also possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 AM CST Sunday the stage was 7.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
