* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of east central Missouri, including the following county and independent city, Saint Louis and Saint Louis City. * WHEN...Until noon CST. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 937 AM CST, media and local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area from heavy rain and small stream flooding. Flooding is already occurring. Between 6 and 10 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... St. Louis, St. Charles, Florissant, Chesterfield, Wildwood, University City, Ballwin, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights, East St. Louis, Hazelwood, Webster Groves, Ferguson, Arnold, Manchester, Creve Coeur, Overland, Clayton, Cahokia and Jennings.
