...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...
St. Francis River near Patterson affecting Wayne County.
.Widespread heavy rain over the last couple of days has caused
significant rises on the St. Francis River. At Patterson, the river
has crested and is expected to fall below flood stage late Wednesday
morning.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Francis River near Patterson.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:30 PM CST Tuesday the stage was 23.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:30 PM CST Tuesday was 23.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 5.9 feet by
Sunday evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
22.6 feet on 05/31/1997.
