River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 48 hours.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Meramec River near Arnold.
* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to Tuesday, November 12.
* IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Covered Bridge RV Park and Storage begins
flooding near this height east of Highway 141.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CST Tuesday the stage was 19.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 34.8 feet Saturday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
