Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...White River at Calico Rock.
* WHEN...Until Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, In Stone County, campground at Allison may
be affected. Homeowners along the river should monitor water
levels in Baxter, Stone, and Izard counties.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 AM CST Wednesday the stage was 21.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.0
feet Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet
and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim,
or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters,
stop, turn around and go another way.
