...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Arkansas...
Black River At Black Rock affecting Lawrence, Jackson and
Independence Counties.
Black River At Pocahontas affecting Randolph County.
For the Black River...including Corning, Pocahontas, Black Rock...
Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Black River at Pocahontas.
* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Agricultural lands along the river east
and south of Pocahontas will be impacted by high water. Equipment
and livestock should be moved to higher ground.
At 20.0 feet, Flooding of backwater up tributaries is spreading
into lands along the Current, Fourche, and Black rivers. Water is
spreading towards the northern edge of the airport.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 PM CST Wednesday the stage was 13.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Thursday afternoon, Nov 7, and continue rising to a
crest of 22.5 feet Sunday morning, Nov 10.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
