Residual flooding continues at the Green Valley Creek at Martinelli Road stream gauge. Localized flooding in the immediate vicinity remains possible. * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused continues due to previous excessive rainfall. * WHERE...A portion of northern California, including the following county, central Sonoma near the Green Valley Creek at Martinelli Road stream gauge. * WHEN...Until 700 AM PST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of Green Valley Creek at Martinelli Road is occurring. Low-water crossings are may be inundated in the area and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 914 PM PST, Gauge reports indicated residual flooding from earlier rain. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.3 inches are possible in the warned area in the next 18 hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
