Big Sunflower River At Sunflower affecting Sunflower County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Big Sunflower River at Sunflower.
* WHEN...From late tonight until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Field west of river begins to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM CST Sunday the stage was 19.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tonight and continue rising to a crest of 22.0 feet
early Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
