Description:
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the following counties, Calloway, Christian, Todd and Trigg. * WHEN...Until noon CST today. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A round of storms brought around an inch of rain to the Watch area last evening, and another line will bring more heavy rain early this morning. There is some potential for storms to train over the Watch area later this morning, as well. Given the saturated soil, the additional heavy rains will likely result in widespread nuisance flooding and more isolated flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
