Description:
* WHAT...For the first Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures 16
to 26 degrees expected. For the second Freeze Warning,
sub-freezing temperatures 14 to 28 degrees expected.
* WHERE...Eastern Cochise County below 5000 feet, Upper Gila River
Valley, Upper San Pedro River Valley, and Upper Santa Cruz River
Valley/Altar Valley.
* WHEN...For the first Freeze Warning, until 10 AM MST this morning.
For the second Freeze Warning, from 10 PM this evening to 10 AM
MST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing. Hypothermia will occur with long-term exposure to these
temperatures.
Instruction:
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
