* WHAT...For the first Small Craft Advisory, northwest winds 15
to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and steep seas 7 to 11 ft
expected. For the Gale Warning, northwest winds 20 to 30 kt
with gusts up to 35 kt and very steep seas 10 to 14 ft
expected. For the second Small Craft Advisory, west winds 15
to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and steep seas 8 to 10 ft
expected.
* WHERE...Waters from San Mateo Point to the Mexican Border
Extending 10 to 60 nm out including San Clemente Island.
* WHEN...For the first Small Craft Advisory, through 3 PM PDT
today. For the Gale Warning, from 3 PM today to 9 AM PDT
Wednesday. For the second Small Craft Advisory, from 9 AM to 11
PM PDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
