Description:
* WHAT...Very steep and hazardous seas 18 to 22 ft at 20 seconds.
South to southeast winds increase this afternoon, reaching gales
30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 50 kt and seas increase to 21 to 26
ft. Conditions gradually improve late tonight into early Tuesday
as winds ease and become southwest 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to
35 kt. Seas subside some, but remain steep and swell dominated
12 to 16 ft at 17 seconds.
* WHERE...All areas.
* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 1 PM PST this
afternoon. For the Gale Warning, from 1 PM this afternoon to 4
AM PST Tuesday. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 4 AM
Tuesday to 10 AM PST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds and very steep seas could capsize or
damage vessels. Low visibility conditions are expected.
