highest waves around 16 feet possible.
* WHERE...St Ignace to False Detour Channel, 5NM East of
Mackinac Bridge to Presque Isle Light MI including Bois Blanc
Island, Presque Isle Light to Sturgeon Pt MI Including Thunder
Bay National Marine Sanctuary and Sturgeon Pt to Alabaster MI.
* WHEN...From late tonight through Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous highest waves which
could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and highest
waves.
