Description:
* WHAT...For the Hazardous Seas, steep seas 9 to 13 ft at 9
seconds and south winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts to 30 kt. For the
Gale Warning, seas 15 to 20 ft at 15 to 17 seconds and winds
30-40 kt with gusts up to 40 kt.
* WHERE...Outer Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence
10 to 60 NM offshore.
* WHEN...Hazardous Seas Warning through 4 AM PST Saturday. Gale
Warning from 4 AM PST Saturday to 1 PM PST Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Instruction:
A Hazardous Seas Warning means hazardous sea conditions are
imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in
port, or take shelter until waves subside. Commercial vessels
should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in port or
taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.
A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

Waters from Cape Shoalwater WA to Cape Falcon OR from 10 to 60 nm; Waters from Cape Falcon to Cape Foulweather OR from 10 to 60 nm; Waters from Cape Foulweather to Florence OR from 10 to 60 nm
