Description:
* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 12 feet.
* WHERE...North and east facing reefs of Pohnpei and Kosrae.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The buoy near Pohnpei continue to show a
steady, long-period north and elevated northeast swell. These two
swells are expected to build, keep surf hazardous through late
this week.
Instruction:
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
