KAUAI OAHU MOLOKAI...NORTH FACING SHORES OF MAUI...AND WEST
FACING SHORES OF THE BIG ISLAND...
.The current large northwest swell (320 degrees) will gradually
decline today through Saturday.
* WHAT...Surf along north facing shores 14 to 18 feet this
morning, lowering to 10 to 14 feet this afternoon. Surf along
west facing shores 8 to 12 feet this morning, lowering to 6 to 9
feet this afternoon.
* WHERE...North and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu,
Molokai, and north facing shores of Maui.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
will make swimming dangerous.
Instruction:
Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don't
go out.
