Warning level surf is expected to generally prevail along north and west facing shores through the weekend, with a brief dip down to advisory levels possible late Saturday and Saturday night. For the Big Island, advisory level surf is expected to hold in place through late Saturday afternoon. * WHAT...Surf 6 to 8 feet. * WHERE...West facing shores of the Big Island. * WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
