Description: 
* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Warning, significant coastal flooding expected. Inundation of between 2 and 2.5 feet above ground level is possible along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 18 to 23 feet in the surf zone. * WHERE...Central Coast zone. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Warning, from 5 AM to 2 PM PST Thursday. For the High Surf Advisory, until 10 AM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Significant coastal flooding due to high tides and storm surge is expected. This could lead to road closures. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure may be inundated. Shoreline erosion or damage may occur. For the high surf advisory, large waves may wash over beaches, jetties, and other structures unexpectedly. People can be swept off rocks and jetties, and drown while observing high surf. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of very large waves, a large high tide occuring around 9 AM, and low pressure will yield the potential for significant coastal flooding and may maintain some overflow longer than normal after the peak of the high tide.
Instruction: 
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Inundation above ground level refers to the height above the Mean Higher High Water (MHHW) level. Beachgoers should never turn their back on the ocean and remain alert to surf conditions. Avoid walking on area beaches and jetties. Large waves may cause serious injury or sweep people into dangerous seas.
