* WHAT...Hazardous surf of 8 to 11 feet and dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...For the High Surf Advisory, west and north facing reefs of the Marianas. For the High Rip Current Risk, west, north, and east facing reefs of Marianas. * WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 4 PM ChST Saturday. For the High Rip Current Risk, through Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The northerly swell has begun to peak across the region. Ritidian buoy data shows that a north-northwest swell remains and the High Surf Advisory was held on fore west facing reefs today. The north-northwest swell should become more north-northeast oriented allowing surf to fall below 9 feet for west facing reefs tonight. The High Surf Advisory was continued through Saturday for north facing reefs.
Instruction: 
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
