Description:
* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, southeast winds 20 to 35 mph with
gusts up to 50 mph expected. For the High Wind Warning, south
winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph late tonight becoming
west Thursday morning.
* WHERE...North Coast.
* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 4 PM PST this afternoon. For
the High Wind Warning, from 10 PM this evening to 1 PM PST
Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
Instruction:
People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees
and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of your home
during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if you must
drive.
