Description:
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
continues. This includes portions of Cedar Creek, English Creek
and White Breast Creek.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Iowa, including the following
county, Marion.
* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not
be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 338 AM CDT, emergency management reported ongoing flooding
across the warned area with numerous road closures as area
streams continue to rise in some areas from Friday nights
heavy rainfall.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Melcher-Dallas, Bussey, Hamilton and Marysville.
Instruction:
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
