Description:
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 1 to
2 feet in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as
40 mph.
* WHERE...Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie
Counties. The greatest snowfall will be across the higher terrain
inland from Lake Erie, south of the Buffalo Southtowns.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult at times with snow covered
roads and poor visibility from blowing snow. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Thursday evening and Friday commutes.
Instruction:
Moderately heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If
traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and
visibilities.
