Description:
* WHAT...Moderate lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 8
to 18 inches in the most persistent lake snows, spread out over
the next several days. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph today
through tonight, and 40 mph Saturday through Saturday night, will
produce areas of blowing and drifting snow.
* WHERE...Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie
Counties.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult at times with snow covered
roads. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility.
The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday morning and
evening commutes.
Instruction:
Moderate snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be
prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
