Description:
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1
to 2 feet in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high
as 30 mph through Friday night, and 40 mph Saturday through
Saturday night, producing areas of blowing and drifting snow.
* WHERE...Wayne County. The greatest snowfall amounts are expected
over the northeast portion of the county.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult at times with snow covered
roads. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility.
The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday evening commute.
Instruction:
Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be
prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
