Description:
* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 1 to 4
inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as
40 mph will produce blowing and drifting snow.
* WHERE...Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie
Counties. The greatest accumulations will be across higher
terrain. The majority of the additional accumulations will be
overnight tonight.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult at times with snow covered
roads. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be prepared
for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
