* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 5 to 10 inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow and greatly reduced visibilities. * WHERE...Northern Cayuga, Oswego, and Lewis Counties. The greatest accumulations are expected across far northern Cayuga County, central and southern Oswego County, and extreme southern Lewis County. * WHEN...Until 6 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...Travel will be extremely difficult with deep snow cover on roads. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility.
