* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 25 kt
with gusts up to 30 kt and waves around 2 ft. For the Low Water
Advisory, abnormally low water levels expected.
* WHERE...James River from Jamestown to the James River Bridge.
* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 4 AM EST Friday.
For the Low Water Advisory, from 10 AM this morning to 4 PM
EST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Below
normal water levels will result in hazardous navigating
conditions.
Instruction:
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
Mariners should navigate shallow waters with extreme caution due
to below normal water levels.
