Coastal Waters north of Puerto Rico
At 850 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms,
capable of producing torrential rainfall and gusty winds to around
30 knots. Another line of thunderstorm is moving towards the north
coast of Puerto Rico and could reach the coastal municipalities in
the next hour or so.
Instruction:
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N; Coastal Waters of Northern Puerto Rico out 10 NM; Coastal Waters from Cabo San Juan to the waters between Anegada Island and Virgin Gorda and North 10 NM; Coastal Waters east of Puerto Rico, around Vieques, and around and just north of Culebra and Saint John; Coastal Waters OF Northwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM
