At 938 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated areas of isolated but strong
strong thunderstorms developing and capable of producing winds to
around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located over waters off
the east and northeast coast of Puerto Rico and over the Atlantic
waters,moving northwest around 10 knots. Waterspouts will also be
possible with some of this activity.
Instruction:
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Waterspouts will also be possible with
some of this activity. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately
until this storm passes.
